Leadership

Aaron Merriweather is the Managing Partner of Franklin Capital Partners.  Mr. Merriweather is responsible for client engagements, strategy, and advising clients.  Mr. Merriweather has managed a variety of corporate finance transactions including private placements and mergers and acquisitions, as well as strategic advisory engagements.   Mr. Merriweather’s advisory experience covers a broad range of industries including technology, media, industrials, healthcare, business services, and consumer products.  Mr. Merriweather was most recently an investment banker at VCAP Investment Group, where he was responsible for originating, structuring and executing capital markets transactions.  Prior to joining VCAP Investment Group, Mr. Merriweather was an investment banker at Monroe Credit Advisors.  Mr. Merriweather has also held positions at Monroe Capital, Goldman Sachs, and Wells Fargo. Mr. Merriweather is a Registered Representative of and Securities Products are offered through BA Securities, LLC. He holds FINRA Series 79, 82, & 63 licenses.  Mr. Merriweather earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.A. magna cum laude in Finance from Morehouse  College.
